Casa Blanca Raghead Crab – Yellow Eyes
This crab was tied custom for Red’s Fly Shop customers upon request of the best Permit guides in the Yucatan Peninsula. There are times when the Permit will only take flies with YELLOW eyes! At least that’s what the guides say and we’re not about to second guess them.
Make sure to take a couple of these great flies.Â
Light vs. Heavy Eyes
Use the heavy eyes in water over 4′ deep, or when there is wave chop on the surface. If it gets calm and you are in the shallows, change up to the lightweight set of eyes.
