Wilson’s Roadkill Crawfish Fly
We saw this fly and it was love at first bite….. hahaha. Total dad joke. Seriously, we saw this pattern and brokered an agreement that it would be a Red’s exclusive pattern. It’s that good. Crawfish are a super important food source for so many fish.
We like the big ones for both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, and the #8 is a killer trout fly. We fish it stripped on either a floating or sink tip line, or tight line it on a Euro rod. It looks so real that it just gets bit. Even picky fish in clear water love this fly.
